Appeal for Witnesses after Woman is Verbally Abused by Man in a Vehicle

Police are appealing for information after a 20-year-old woman was verbally abused by a male who pulled up alongside her as she walked along the pavement.

The man in the car persistently asked for her name and number. He then became verbally abusive towards her before driving off.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 19th January between 10:20pm and 10:30pm on Kings Road in North Ormesby.

The vehicle that the man was driving is thought to be a Kia Picanto or Cee’d in red and registered after 2011.
The driver of the vehicle is described as small in build and height with dark brown/black hair and a long beard.
Police are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to contact them.
