Appeal for Witnesses Following a Collision with a Vehicle and a Pedestrian in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a Peugeot 207 and a 14-year-old boy collided on Borough Road at the traffic light junction of Abingdon Road in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred yesterday, Sunday 24th January at 4:35pm and as a result of the collision, the pedestrian was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he is being treated for a broken arm.

Anyone with information regarding the collision or anyone who witnessed it is asked to contact PC Sharon Smith from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 014169.
