66-Year-Old Man Attacked and Robbed in Stockton

Police are appealing for information after a 66-year-old man was attacked and robbed on Dennison Street in Stockton (close to the junction of Northcote Street).

The incident occurred yesterday, Thursday 28th January between 7:15-7:20am when the victim was attacked from behind and had his head pushed against a car and he was pushed to the floor and pinned down.

The attacker demanded the victim’s wallet which the victim handed over and then the attacker ran off down Dennison Street. The wallet contained money and a bank card.

The victim suffered minor injuries from the attack but not did require medical treatment.
The attacker is described as a white male with dark hair, aged between 20 and 30-years-old, of big build with a local accent. He was wearing a grey hooded top and dark coloured jogging bottoms.
