CCTV Footage Released Following Robbery at Store in Billingham

CCTV footage is being released following a robbery in which a woman was injured with a syringe.

The incident took place at around 9.30pm on Sunday 31st January at Teesdale Convenience Store on Teesdale Avenue, Billingham.

A male entered the store and threatened the shop worker with the syringe before making off with cash and cigarettes. He then made off along Teesdale Avenue and onto Station Road.

The woman attended hospital and was later released following treatment.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 6ft tall and was wearing a grey hooded top with red detail around the hood and grey bottoms.
