23-Year-Old Man Injured in Attempted Burglary

Police are appealing for information after a 23-year-old man was injured with a stanley knife when he confronted two men who had been attempting to break into a shed.

The incident occurred yesterday, Thursday 11th February, at 8:30pm in the garden of a property on Roseneath Avenue in Roseworth, Stockton.

The victim suffered minor injuries to his arms and chest as a result of the incident and received medical treatment at the University Hospital of North Tees.

The two suspects then made off into another garden. They are described as white males, around 5 ft 10” tall, of slim build and aged in their early twenties. They were both wearing dark, hooded tops.
