59-Year-Old Assaulted During Burglary in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a 59-year-old woman was assaulted after she discovered a man burgling her property on Oak Hill in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Thursday 11th February between 8:10pm and 8:18pm when the victim found a man in the property and confronted him. He proceeded to push her over, causing her to hit her head, and she fell to the ground.

The victim did not receive any medical treatment following the incident.

The suspect stole a Lenovo laptop, two Samsung phones, a handbag, medication and a substantial amount of cash.
