69-Year-Old Woman Robbed in Norton

Police are appealing for information after a 69-year-old woman was robbed as she was walking along Mowbray Road in Norton with her husband.

The incident occurred yesterday, Sunday 14th February, at around 11:20pm when a male snatched the victim’s handbag and made off on a pedal bike.

The handbag is a brown imitation crocodile skin handbag which contained a light brown purse with money and a bank card inside.

The suspect is described as around 5 ft 3” tall, of slim build and wearing dark clothing with a black hooded top and a black scarf covering his face. He was riding a pedal cycle.
