Man Robbed of Bike in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a 20-year-old man was robbed as he cycled along Ladgate Lane in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Friday 12th February between 3:40pm and 3:50pm. As the victim cycled under the pass that leads into Coulby Newham (adjacent with Middlesbrough Golf Club), he was pulled from the bike and the male suspect made off with the two-tone grey Carrera Cross Fire mountain bike, back towards Ladgate Lane.

It is believed the suspect was on a BMX bike at the time of the incident and he was wearing all dark clothing and was of slim build.

The victim was uninjured.
