Appeal to Trace Three Female Good Samaritans Following Alleged Assault in Guisborough

Police are appealing to trace three female Good Samaritans who spoke to an injured 33-year-old woman on Guisborough High Street after she had allegedly been assaulted.

The alleged incident happened on Saturday 6th February at around 11:30pm. The victim was left with severe facial injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital where she was treated and later released.

It is believed that three women travelling in a small red vehicle, possibly a Ford Fiesta, stopped on Guisborough High Street and spoke with the victim. Police would like these women to come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.

A 31-year-old man appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday 8th February charged with assault, threatening a person with a blade, driving a vehicle with no insurance, dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking, driving whilst disqualified and criminal damage. The man will appear at Teesside Crown Court at a later date.
