Burglars Target Vulnerable Man in Stockton

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them after a burglary in Stockton targeting a vulnerable 53-year-old man.

The burglary happened at an address on Vane Street, Stockton, between 8pm on Tuesday 15th March and 8am on Wednesday 16th March, as the man slept.

The suspects stole the victim’s medication, a Playstation, a Samsung tablet and a 50” television.

Detective Sergeant Stu Hodgson, from Stockton Volume Crime Team, said: “I believe that the burglars have targeted this man because of his vulnerability. We are doing everything possible to trace those responsible and I would ask anyone with information or anyone who may have been offered the stolen items for sale to contact police.”
