Spring Crime Prevention ‘Pop up Shop’

Spring Crime Prevention ‘Pop up Shop’
Between 12:30pm-2pm on Monday 4th April
B&Q, Portrack Lane, Stockton

This year’s spring crime prevention campaign will be launched with an event at B&Q on Portrack Lane in Stockton to raise awareness of crime prevention steps to take in gardens and homes.

Stephen Cranston and Stephen Davies from Cleveland Police’s Community and Partnership Team will be in attendance along with PCSO’s to offer tips and advice and will be handing out crime prevention information and free crime prevention tools.

The event is a fantastic opportunity to be given advice on how to prevent insecure burglaries and garden and bicycle thefts.

Crime Prevention and Architectural Liaison Officer, Stephen Davies, said: “Similar pop up shops have been held in the past and they have been very successful with lots of people attending.

“Now that the light nights are drawing in, it is important for people to be informed about crime prevention advice relating to the spring and summer seasons including how to prevent insecure burglaries and how to keep property safe in your garden. The pop up shop is an excellent way of raising awareness about how to prevent crime.”

We look forward to seeing you there!
