Appeal Following Burglary on Walter Street in Stockton

Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a property on Walter Street in Stockton.

The alleged incident occurred between 10:30pm on Thursday 23rd June and 6:30am on Friday 24th June.

A distinctive framed red American football shirt with ‘Great Britain’ on the back was stolen. The shirt is of sentimental value.

A 40” Bauhn TV was also stolen as well as a blue iPhone 5 with a broken screen, a blue and white iPod, a Sony docking station and a black Nissan Juke was taken from the driveway. The vehicle was later recovered but the keys for the vehicle remain outstanding.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 46-year-old man has been charged with burglary and appeared at Teesside Remand Court this morning.
