Appeal for Witnesses Following Two Incidents Whereby Stones Were Thrown in Grangetown

Police are appealing for information after two incidents in Grangetown whereby stones were thrown at a woman and a teenager.

Officers believe that the two incidents are connected.

The first incident happened on Friday 17th June at around 6pm when a 41-year-old woman was hit on the shoulder by a stone near to Fabian Road roundabout on Birchington Avenue in Grangetown. She did not receive medical treatment and was left shaken by what happened.

The second incident occurred on Saturday 25th June at around 7pm when stones were thrown at a 15-year-old male whilst he cycled near to the park on Buttermere Road in Grangetown. He was uninjured but left shaken by the incident.

It is believed that three youths are responsible for throwing the stones.
