Appeal for Witnesses after a 16-Year-Old Teenager was Assaulted in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted on the B1365 between Bluebell corner and Viewley Hill Avenue in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred yesterday, Wednesday 13th July at 10.30pm when the victim was approached by two men. One of the men punched the victim to the floor and kicked him repeatedly in the body.

During the attack the man lost consciousness for a short time and as a result he also has possible broken/ cracked ribs and he was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment. His phone was also smashed during the incident.

It is believed the men responsible headed off towards the Bluebell garage after the assault and they are both thought to be in their 30s and they were wearing grey hooded tops.
