Woman Injured in Fail-to-Stop Collision in Middlesbrough

... Saturday 30th July on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough.

As a result of the collision, the pedestrian was taken to James Cook University Hospital with head injuries and a fractured pelvis. She remains in hospital and her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to stop, dangerous driving, no insurance and for not having a driving licence. The man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
