Appeal for Witnesses Following a Collision with a Ford Mondeo and an Audi A3 in Redcar

Police are appealing for information after a Ford Mondeo and an Audi A3 collided at the junctions of Redcar Lane and Lord Street in Redcar.

The incident occurred yesterday, Wednesday 3rd August, at around 9:35pm.

The 24-year-old male driver of the Ford Mondeo was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to stop. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 26-year-old man was taken to James Cook University Hospital with a fractured jaw and a 30-year-old man was taken to the same hospital with a fractured right collarbone. Both injured men had been travelling in the Audi A3.
