Appeal for Witnesses after a 69-year-old Man was Robbed in Guisborough

Police are appealing for information after a 69-year-old man was robbed at a property on Howlbeck Road in Guisborough.

The incident occurred yesterday, Monday24th October, between 6:20pm and 6:30pm. The doorbell at the property rang and when the victim answered the door he was punched in the face. His wallet was stolen, containing a small amount of cash and bank cards.

The suspect is described as a male, of medium build with a local accent and around 5 ft 6” tall and he was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, gloves and a clown mask over his face which was white, red and black in colour.

The victim did not receive medical treatment following the incident, but he has been left shaken.
