Cyber Crime ‘Pop up Shop’

Between 12-2pm on Thursday 17th November 2016/ Middleton Grange Shopping Centre

Cleveland Police’s Cyber Crime Unit is inviting members of the public to their cyber crime pop up shop at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre in Hartlepool (near to the McDonald’s seating area).

Detective Sergeant Andrew Richmond and Detective Constable William Galloway from the Cyber Crime Unit will be in attendance to hand out leaflets and to provide advice and support for the public on how to protect themselves from becoming a victim of cyber crime.

Detective Sergeant Andrew Richmond said: “The pop up shop ties in well with Cyber Monday, which takes place on Monday 28th November, and it is the perfect opportunity for everyone to come down to ask questions about cyber crime and for us to provide them with advice.

“We would like to thank Middleton Grange Shopping Centre for their support and we look forward to seeing everyone there!”
