Jewellery Taken in Burglary at Property on Yarm Road, Eaglescliffe

Police are appealing for information after jewellery was stolen from a property on Yarm Road in Eaglescliffe.

The incident occurred between Wednesday 2nd November and Thursday 4th November, when those responsible forced entry into the property and ransacked the house.

A black safe was stolen, containing numerous gold sovereign rings, two gold necklaces with sovereign rings attached, a gold Omega watch, cash and medals.

The occupants were not in the property at the time of the burglary.

It is believed that the suspects left the address and made off along a rear alley and headed towards Swinburne Road in Eaglescliffe.
