Woman Assaulted While Walking Three Dogs, Wilton Lane

A woman was assaulted as she walked her three dogs on a farm track off Wilton Lane, Guisborough.

She was on a farmer’s dirt track at around 10.10am yesterday (Sunday 8th January) where there was also a man walking his dog.  The victim’s dogs approached the man’s dog and he then kicked the three dogs and spat in the woman’s face.

He also struck the victim on her arm and pulled at her whereupon she got back into her van with her dogs.  The unknown man kicked a wing mirror off the van.

The suspect is a white man, in his 20s, of larger build and was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black top and wellington boots.

The man’s dog is a chestnut and white bull terrier puppy, aged around 12 weeks and we are asking if regular dog walkers might recognise the man - perhaps through the breed, colour and age of the puppy.
