Appeal for Witnesses after Man Robbed, Stockton

We are appealing for witnesses to a robbery on a 68 year old man in Stockton just before the New Year.

The man was walking through Parkfield Way in Stockton at around 4pm on Friday 30th December when he was approached from behind by two men, one pushing a bike.

They asked him if he wanted to buy the bike and he declined and began to walk away.  As he did so, he was grabbed from behind by the men, who searched his pockets and stole cash and a mobile phone.

The suspects are described as

1) White, aged in his late 30s, around 6’1” tall, of thin build with a long, pale face and chin.  He was wearing a dark grey woollen hat, a long green waxed coat, blue jeans and blue trainers.  He had a deep southern Irish accent

2) White, 5’7” to 5’8” tall, of thin build and has a thin pale face with no teeth.  He was wearing a light grey woollen hat, a silver grey tracksuit top in a shell-suit style and trainers.
