Appeal For Witnesses Following A Fail To Stop Collision on Stockton Road In Hartlepool

Police are appealing for information after a collision occurred with a vehicle and a cyclist on Stockton Road at the junction of Cornwall Street in Hartlepool.

The incident occurred at 7:40pm on Thursday 12th January and the vehicle, which was possibly a people carrier failed to stop at the scene.

Officers would like the driver of this vehicle to come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.

As a result of the collision the 55-year-old male cyclist was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees with an injury to his ankle
