The incident occurred between 12-1pm on Sunday 15th January when a couple were walking their German Shepherd dog when three males approached them with their Staffordshire Terrier dog.

The Staffordshire was walking off its lead and attacked the German Shepherd and the female owner who had to intervene to protect her dog.

As a result of the attack, the German Shepherd has injuries to its rear legs and the owner has injuries to her lower left leg.

It is believed that the three males and the Staffordshire Terrier made off from the scene in a green coloured Volkswagen Golf.
