Woman Robbed And Threatened With A Knife In Stockton

Police are appealing for information after a 32-year-old woman was assaulted in the grassed area between North Green, South Green, Parliament Walk and Parkfield Way in Stockton.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 11th January between 5:15am-05:30am when the victim was approached by a woman with a knife who dragged her to the ground. The victim fought off the suspect and caught her hand on the knife. The attacker then made off with the victim’s money.

The suspect is described as a white woman in her late 20s, around 5 ft 4 “ tall with mousey brown hair and it was tied in a ponytail. She was also wearing a light coloured zipped tracksuit top and trainers.

As a result of the attack, the victim has a broken shoulder, cuts to her fingers, tendon damage to her hand and a cup lip. The victim attended hospital for treatment.
