Appeal after Teenager is Robbed in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a 13-year-old boy was robbed in Middlesbrough.

The incident took place between 6pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday 17th January in Ayresome Gardens on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough.

The victim was texting on his mobile phone when he was approached by a male and threatened with a knife before he then stole the victim’s phone.

The male suspect is described as being 5ft 8” tall with a southern English accent. He was wearing a black hooded Northface jacket with the hood up and light coloured jeans.
