Four Delivery Drivers Robbed In Thornaby

Police are appealing for information after four delivery drivers were robbed in Thornaby.

The first offence occurred on Redcar Road on Thursday 29th December at around 10:30pm, when a 33-year-old male delivery driver was approached by two males who demanded his money and food before making off.

A second incident occurred on Avon Close on Tuesday 17th January at around 7:30pm when a 63-year-old male delivery driver was approached by two males who attempted to assault the victim and then demanded the food he was delivering and ran away in the direction of Redcar Road.

The third incident occurred on Avon Close on Tuesday 24th January at around 6:30pm. A 32-year-old male delivery driver was approached by three males who assaulted him, then took the food and ran away towards Redcar Road.

A fourth incident occurred on Avon Close yesterday, Wednesday 25th January, at around 8:30pm when a 42-year-old delivery driver was targeted by three males who took the food from him and ran away.

All three of the males are described as being white and aged in their late teens to mid-twenties.
