Crime Prevention Invitation

Middlesbrough Cycle Centre, Middlesbrough Bus Station, Newport Road/ Friday 3rd February Between 11am – 1pm

Cleveland Police Crime Prevention Team are inviting people to attend a property marking event at Middlesbrough Cycle Centre, inside Middlesbrough Bus Station to have their bikes and other property marked by the ‘dot peen’ machine.

The event will be managed by Middlesbrough Environment City and Crime Prevention and Architectural Liaison Officers Steve Cranston and Gerry McBride and officers from Middlesbroughs Integrated Neighbourhood Team will be on hand to mark property and to offer crime prevention advice.

Once property is marked it can then easily be traced back to its owner if stolen in a burglary. Items such as tools, bikes, laptops and mobile phones can all be stamped.
