Witness Appeal After 39-Year-Old Man Assaulted In Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a 39-year-old man was assaulted on Staveley Walk in Overfields in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred at around 1pm on Wednesday 22nd February when the victim was approached by an unknown man who assaulted him.

The suspect is described as male, of mixed race, aged around 24 years old and of medium build.

As a result of the attack the victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he is being treated for a broken arm and head injuries.
