Appeal for Witnesses to Knife-point Robbery, Stockton

Police are appealing for witnesses to a knife-point robbery in Stockton in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 22nd March.

A 17-year-old boy was walking along Elstob Close in Hardwick between midnight and around 12.30am this morning when he was approached by a male who asked him for a cigarette. The victim gave the man a cigarette and walked away before he made his way onto Scurfield Road where he was approached again by the same male and threatened with a knife.

The suspect stole the victim’s Samsung S5 mobile phone, which had a damaged screen, before he made off over the grass on Wellfield Green towards Hardwick Green Primary Academy.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 20 years old and he was wearing a black puffa jacket and dark jeans.
