Appeal For Witnesses Following Collision In Loftus

Police are appealing for information after a silver Renault Scenic and a red Renault Clio collided on Zetland Terrace in Loftus.

The incident occurred on Sunday 26th March at 9:20pm when the two vehicles collided.

As a result of the collision one of the 35-year-old male passengers of the Scenic suffered a fractured leg and back injuries. The 20-year-old male front passenger of this vehicle also suffered a back injury.

The 23-year-old female driver of the Renault Clio suffered a fractured wrist and sprained ankle. Everyone was treated at James Cook University Hospital.

A 29-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with the collision and has been released on bail pending further enquiries
