Save A Life And Surrender Your Knife

Cleveland Police is once again supporting a national knife amnesty in a bid to tackle knife crime which runs from Tuesday 2nd May to Monday 8th May.

Last year’s campaign was very successful, with 106 knives and sharp objects were handed in. Swords, machetes, flick knives, lock knives, hunting knives, meat cleavers, butterfly knives, scissors, kitchen knives and even a BB gun were amongst the items handed in last year.

Officers are urging people to surrender their knives once again throughout the latest campaign.

Once items are surrendered they will be safely disposed of.
