Save A Life And Surrender Your Knife

Cleveland Police is once again supporting a knife amnesty next week under the name Operation Sceptre in a bid to tackle knife crime.

Officers are urging people to surrender their knives for the latest national campaign which begins on Tuesday 2nd May and ends on Monday 8th May.

In the past, Cleveland Police along with other forces around the country have donated knives and weapons to create the ‘Knife Angel’ sculpture which has been created with 100,000 knives at the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry, Shropshire, to raise awareness of the issue of knife crime throughout the UK.

If you have information about knife crime please contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
