29-Year-old Man Robbed in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a 29-year-old man was robbed whilst walking across the wasteland area between Diamond Road and Waverley Street near to the rear of Parkfield Nursing Home in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 23rd May at 11:15pm when the victim was approached by three men and one of them hit the man over the head with a bottle.

The men then took the victim’s cash and leather jacket.

As a result of the attack, the victim suffered head injuries and a broken nose and was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment.

One of the male attackers is described as being white, of skinny build and middle aged.
