Appeal for Witnesses after Man Sustains Serious Leg Injuries, Dormanstown

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident during which a man sustained serious leg injuries in Dormanstown.

The incident happened at around 6.25pm on Sunday 13th August on Broadway West.

A 26-year-old man, who was on a motorcycle, was involved in a collision with a silver Audi A5. He suffered two broken legs and is undergoing further surgery at James Cook University Hospital today.

Police believe there were a large group of people gathered in the area at the time of the incident.

Two men aged 23 and 27 have been arrested in connection with the incident. The 23-year-old man remains in police custody this morning and the 27-year-old man has been released under investigation.
