Appeal to Trace Woman after Charity Box Theft

Police are appealing to trace a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a charity box which was taken from the reception area of the Metro Inns Hotel in Portrack, Stockton.

The incident occurred on Thursday 17th August at 10:45am when the woman checked out of the hotel and once she had left the charity box belonging to Donna’s Dream Homes had gone.

It is believed the woman could be responsible for the theft and she is described as being a small female with a tanned complexion, around 5 ft 4” tall, of slim build and aged between her late 40s to early 50s. She is thought to be from the Newcastle area and she was accompanied by a local man.
