Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage Following Stabbing in Stockton

Officers are appealing for witnesses and local businesses with CCTV footage to contact police after a man suffered stab wounds outside a restaurant. The incident occurred at the junction of Prince Regent Street and Yarm Lane in Stockton on Monday 11th September at around 6pm.

Detective Sergeant Louise Sproson said: “We would like to appeal for witnesses and any local businesses that have CCTV footage from the area of the incident to come forward and speak to police as they may be able to assist with enquiries”.

The 29-year-old victim is still receiving treatment at James Cook University Hospital for stab wounds and is now in stable condition.

The two men arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent in connection with the offence have now been released under investigation.
