Appeal Following Robbery, Dovecot Street, Stockton

A 17 year old boy was left with facial injuries after he was threatened and robbed as he walked alone along Dovecot Street in Stockton at the weekend.

He was approached by two unknown men between 23.55pm on Saturday 30th September on 00.07 on Sunday 1st October and they told him to turn out his pockets.  The pair then demanded his bag before making threats to assault him.

The victim handed over his black Nike single strap bag to the offenders who then assaulted him before leaving the scene.

The suspects are described as:

i) A white male, around 30 years old, 6’ tall, of stocky build and with thinning light brown hair.  He had a tanned complexion and was wearing a long khaki jacket and dark blue jeans

ii) A white male, 6'-6'1" in height, around 30 years old, of stocky build, with curly black short hair and a fair complexion.  He was wearing a black puffa style jacket and jeans.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the incident or anyone with information is asked to contact DC Rachael Smith of the Operational Crime Team North via the 101 number.
