Man Assaulted at the Junction of Trimdon Avenue and Earlsdon Avenue

Police are appealing for information after a 46-year-old man was assaulted at the junction of Trimdon Avenue and Earlsdon Avenue in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Sunday 5th November at 2:30pm when a red vehicle pulled up and two men got out of the car. One of the men kicked the victim and punched him and then proceeded to strangle him.

The victim managed to escape but the suspects managed to take the victim’s wallet and fled.

Officers believe there were people on the street at the time of the incident who may have witnessed it and they would like these people to come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.

One of the suspects is described as being a man with dark skin, muscly build and around 5ft 8” tall with black hair that is short on the sides and long on top. He was also wearing a green top.
