Appeal for Witnesses Following Serious Collision in Stockton

Police are appealing for information and for the driver of black vehicle to come forward after a yellow/ gold Peugeot 307 vehicle collided with two pedestrians on the A1305, at the junction with Bishopton Lane in Stockton (near to the Station Pub).

The incident occurred yesterday, Tuesday 28th November at 20:53pm.

As a result of the collision, a 47-year-old female pedestrian was taken to James Cook University Hospital where she is being treated for internal bleeding and a broken pelvis. She is described as being critical but stable. 

A 53-year-old male pedestrian was also taken to the same hospital where he is being treated for a head injury, a broken leg, fractured ribs and a fractured spine. His injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.

Three 17-year-old males and a 24-year-old male have all been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and currently remain in custody.
It is believed a black vehicle was around at the time of the incident and officers would like the driver of this vehicle to come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.
