Man Robbed in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a 26-year-old man was robbed on the footpath between High Farm View and Maplewood Drive in Middlesbrough (known locally as the Black Path).

The incident occurred at 5:15am on Thursday 7th December when the victim was approached by two men in dark clothing, with their hoods pulled tightly around their faces. One of the men was holding a knife.

The men demanded the victim to hand over his mobile phone, rucksack and wallet and then one of the men punched the victim in the face which caused bruising and swelling to his face.
