Woman Assaulted Outside House of Fraser

Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted outside of House of Fraser in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred yesterday, Thursday 21st December at around 4pm when a man approached the victim on a pedal cycle and knocked her to the ground.

The man is described as being a young white male and he was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a top with the hood up and a light blue body warmer. It was thought the man was also with someone else on a pedal cycle at the time of the incident that is also being described as a white male and he was wearing a dark grey tracksuit.

Both of the males cycled off along Newport Road towards the bus station following the assault.

As a result of the incident the victim received treatment at James Cook University Hospital for minor injuries.
