Appeal for Webcam Footage Following Serious Collision in Normanby

Police are appealing for drivers with dashcam footage to come forward after a collision occurred involving a gold Renault Megane and a pedestrian.

The incident occurred yesterday, Tuesday 13th February at 3:20pm on West Street in Normanby.

The 91-year-old male pedestrian was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries including a fractured pelvis, ribs and spine.

Anyone who believes they have captured relevant footage or anyone else who was in the area at the time and saw the collision - or the Megane beforehand - is asked to contact PC Amanda Stokes of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 101.  Please quote event number CVP-18-026416
