Robbery at McColl’s in New Marske

Police are appealing for information after a knife point robbery took place at McColl’s on Gurney Street in New Marske.

The incident occurred last night, Monday 19th February at around 8:55pm when a man walked into the shop and threatened a member of staff with a knife. The man then took a quantity of cash from the till and ran out of the store.

This man is described as being a white male, in his 20s, of skinny build and he was wearing a hooded top.

No one was injured.
