Man Assaulted on Marton Road in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after a 30-year-old male cyclist was assaulted on Marton Road (outside of the Prissick Sports Centre) in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 7th March at 8:15pm when the victim cycled past a group of three males when one of them hit the victim over the head with a bat.

Following the incident the victim went to James Cook University Hospital where he was treated for mild concussion.

The male responsible is described as being a white male, around 5 ft 10” tall, of mid to late teens, of slim build and he was wearing a light coloured tracksuit.
