Appeal for Witnesses to Collision Involving Cyclist in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Middlesbrough involving a cyclist and a Nissan Juke.

The collision happened at around 6am yesterday, Wednesday 2nd May, on the A172 Stokesley Road at the junction with Gainsborough Road in Marton.

The 61-year-old male cyclist was taken to James Cook University Hospital following the collision with the white Nissan Juke.

He suffered a fractured spine and remains in hospital whilst receiving treatment.
