Appeal Following Collision on the A66

Police are appealing for information after a collision on the A66 in Middlesbrough.

The collision happened at around 1.55pm on Sunday 13th May on the A66 westbound between Newport and the A19.

A black Volkswagen Golf collided with a barrier. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Officers believe that there was a grey Toyota Yaris driving in front of the Volkswagen at the time of the collision and they would like to speak to the driver of this vehicle.

Anyone who may have dash cam footage of the collision or any witnesses to it are asked to contact PC Paul Dixon from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 84950.
