Appeal Following Fail to Stop Collision, Dormanstown

A cyclist who was in collision with a vehicle which failed to stop at the scene suffered a fractured jaw and eye socket.

The 41 year old was on Staithes Road at its junction with Huntcliffe Avenue in Dormanstown at 23.20pm last night, (Thursday 17th May), when the collision took place.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment for his facial injuries, then he was released.

We are asking for anyone with information on who was driving the car, (its make and model are currently unknown), to come forward with information.  Other motorists may have captured the incident on their dash cam and we would also appeal for their help.
