Appeal after Alleged Assault in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for witnesses to two alleged incidents in Middlesbrough.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a woman climbing over railings on a footbridge over the A19 from Acklam to Teesside Park at around 7am on Saturday 26th May. The woman would have been in company with a man at the time.
The same woman is then alleged to have been assaulted by a man on Acklam Road outside West Lane Hospital at 7.35am. He reportedly then left the scene on a bike.
The woman suffered a swollen left eye.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with kidnap and ABH and he appeared in court on Monday 28th May.
