Appeal for Witnesses Following Two Robberies in Stockton

Police are appealing for information after two robberies occurred in Stockton. The first one happened outside the Queen Vic pub on Yarm Road in Stockton between 11:30pm and 12:05pm from Monday 28th-Tuesday 29th May.

Two men approached the 42-year-old male victim, threatened him with a suspected BB gun, assaulted him and then stole money from him.

As a result of the assault the victim suffered from swelling to his hand and eye but did not receive medical treatment.

The two men also shot the victim’s friend with the BB gun causing minor injuries to his chest and back but he also did not receive medical treatment.

The second robbery occurred at around 4am on Tuesday 29th May on Grove Street in Stockton when the two men approached a 32-year-old woman threatened her with a suspected BB gun, assaulted her and then stole money from her.

As a result of the incident the victim did not sustain any injuries.

Officers believe the same two men are responsible for the robberies. The first man is described as being in his 20s with scruffy brown hair and he was wearing all black. The second male was the same age with curly brown hair at the front and he was wearing a blue bomber jacket.
