Man Seriously Injured During Assault in Stockton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault in Stockton last night, Saturday 2nd June.

Officers were called to Ivy House on Dovecot Street at around 11.50pm to reports of an altercation.

A 28-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital, where he remains today in a “critical but stable” condition.

Four other males suffered minor injuries.

A 35-year-old man from the Stockton area was later arrested by police on suspicion of assault and he remains in police custody at this time.
